IΩANNA is a Greek–Australian artist exploring the boundaries of traditional sculpture. Her practice moves between botanical and mechanical forms, dissecting themes of transformation, identity, and the collision of nature with technology. Through a fusion of traditional technique and conceptual inquiry, she reimagines her Greek heritage into vivid, contemporary mythologies.

She holds a Bachelor of Visual Art and a Bachelor of Business from Monash University, including a scholarship to study in Italy. Her accolades include the Tina Wentcher Prize, Katherine Jewellery Award, Darwin Festival Pomelo Award, and the People’s Choice Award at the Northern Centre for Contemporary Art.

IΩANNA is currently exhibiting at the Florence Biennale at Fortezza da Basso, Florence, Italy.
