The Artists Need Not Apply Exhibition at Godinymayin Yijard Rivers Arts & Culture Centre (GYRACC), Katherine opens Friday 5 August at 5pm alongside Dawn Beasley’s Botanically Porcelain exhibition.
As a part of the exhibition’s public program, Ioanna and Lukas are facilitating a group discussion at the gallery on Saturday August 6, 11am. Key topics in this talk will include access to this technology and the ethics of creating art with indigenous characteristics.
A free workshop to the public on how to leverage Artificial Intelligence programs, specifically Generative Adversarial Networks (GANS) will be held on Saturday, September 10 between 9am - 12pm. Utilising GANS is a digital literacy skill for artists and designers seeking to expand their ideation process and general practice. No experience is required. Bring a laptop if you have one.
